Flan  Recipe

Flan is a exquisite dessert originally from Latin America.  It's vanilla flavor and smoothness,  will leave you and your family craving for some more!

*preparation time:20 minutes,*cooking time:1 hour,*ready in:3 hours,*servings:6

DIRECTIONS:
preheat oven 350 degrees
 

First prepare caramel.  Melt 1/2 a cup of sugar,  in a saucepan until it's golden brown (like honey).  Remove it from heat an pour in to the bottom dish IMMEDIATELY.

Now mix and beat 5 eggs, 1 table spoon of vanilla extract,14oz can sweetened condensed milk, 12oz can evaporated milk and my own personal touch
ground cinnamon (only if desired).

Place dish with ingredients,  In to a large roasting pan filled 3/4 of water.

Finally bake from 50-60 minutes.  Then cool off on fridge for at least 2 1/2 hours.  Best if left to cool off overnight.  Before serving unmold by running a knife around edges and invert in to serving plate.   Now your Flan is ready to eat.  Enjoy!
